Every other week I participate in The Sunday Post hosted by Caffeinated Reviewer. The meme is weekly, every Sunday, but I’ve decided to do it bi-weekly since I don’t usually have that much to share every single week. So, here are some updates from the last 2 weeks!
→ I missed a week of blogging, but once I start. . .I CANNOT BE STOPPED. Last week I read 4 books and wrote several blog posts ahead of schedule! I’m so proud of myself. I’m enjoying this little time I’m giving back to myself to do something I’ve always enjoyed. I’m really happy to have books coming back into my life. . .not just sitting on my bookshelves taunting me. >.<
→ On a non-bookish note, life still has not changed much lol. What can we do when everything is shut down? My husband and I celebrated our 7 year wedding anniversary in July and then my birthday is at the end of this month! I haven’t done anything bookish to celebrate my birthday in a while so I’m considering a giveaway! If I host one, it would be over on Instagram so make sure you follow me on there.

I’m currently reading Geekerella! I’m about halfway through and I think it is really fun so far. I like both of the main characters. I don’t have a favorite POV so far, so that’s nice! I hate when I read multiple POV books and can’t stand certain ones. I end up skimming their chapters – but with this one, I like both.
With that said, I forget how much I hate Cinderella retellings because OH MY GOD the step-family! I cannot stand them in every retelling. Which is the point, I know, but they get me so angry I just want to slap them. UGH.
Anyways, I’m hoping to finish this soon and start Our Bloody Pearl or In Sight of the Mountain!

This is a great time for outdoor types, because all those activities are still available. Congratulations on 7 years! It’s a wonderful milestone, and way to read so many books. Geekerella is a favorite of mine. It’s just so cute and adorable.
Yeah it is haha I am not an outdoor type though >.< Well, I like the mountains, but I live by the beach so...lol I finished Geekerella last night and really loved it!
Four books and several blog posts?! That’s amazing! =D I have been able to read more than usual in the past weeks, but I’m still awful at writing blog posts ahead of schedule.
I bought Geekerella a few months ago. Hopefully, I will read it soon – it seems such a funny book series.
Happy readings!
I was very proud of myself lol I finished Geekerella last night, it was super cute! I recommend reading it soon if you’re looking for something light and fun 🙂
I’m so glad you have been able to enjoy some reading and blogging. It’s a safe escape and mind expansion in this crazy world. Happy anniversary and happy birthday!

Thank you! 🙂
Thank you so much for sharing my post, so happy you enjoyed it! <3
CONGRATULATIONS ON 7 years, what a lovely milestone, this is so, so wonderful <3 and I get you about the cinderella retellings and the step family, they ALWAYS make me want to scream too 😂 Happy reading and have a wonderful week! <3
You’re welcome! I’m always sharing your posts, you have great content! 🙂 And thank you! YES it is lol We’ve been together for 11 years, married 7, it’s crazy how time flies!
Congratulations on your 7 year anniversary. And I’m happy to hear you’re enjoying books again. I think I forget how much i enjoy reading until I’ve not finished a book in a while and find a really good one to read. I remember really enjoying Geekerella but I do agree the issue with Cinderella retelling is the rubbish family, why could someone not change it up?
Thank you! Also, yes! It definitely feels good to finish a book and reminds me why I like reading to begin with lol Geekerella was super cute and the author changed it just a tinyyyyy bit but the family is still so frustrating lol
Geekerella sounds so interesting! I love the title too. And congratulations on your 7th anniversary 🙂

You have a right to be! Also, happy belated anniversary and happy birthday in advance!
hahaha thank you!! 🙂
Congrats on seven years….that is amazing to hear!! I have never read Geekerella but hear great things. I want to pick it up the next time I am in the mood for a YA. But boy do I struggle with Cinderella retellings, I can never get over the cruel step family. I have to prepare emotionally for it.
Hope you are enjoying your week.
Thank you so much! Geekerella is great so I definitely say read it if you want something cute! BUT YES the stupid family. Although, this one has a bit of a redemption (I won’t spoil it too much but there is something good that comes out of something).
Happy wedding anniversary and happy early birthday! I celebrated my birthday at the end of July and while it was quite uneventful, it’s actually nice and more intimate haha.
Thank you so much! And Happy Belated Birthday! Something small and intimate is always nice too 🙂
Happy anniversary! I adored Geekerella! I just started the third book in that loose series this morning–Bookish and the Beast. I’m so excited!
Thank you so much! I want to read the next 2 in the series for Geekerella! I hope they’re just as cute 🙂
