→ March was a great month for me! I made some bookish related goals and stuck to a lot of them. I posted (almost) every day on bookstagram (I missed 1 day, damn it!), I read 9, yes NINE, stories (comic books, short stories, novels, etc). And I’ve been fairly consistent with blogging (still working on it a bit). Now I just need to keep the momentum into April!
→ My health goals have been going well too, although I have had some more “unhealthy” days this month. Overall, though, I’ve been sticking to it. So far I’m now down 21 lbs! Which means I’m officially to my pregnancy weight (not pre-pregnancy, but how much I weighed during the last trimester of my pregnancy). I have about 40 more pounds I want to lose but I’m already feeling good. Also, a bigger accomplishment to me is that I actually finished a full workout plan! I’ve paid for plans throughout the years and never finish them, this time I did! I completed Lauren Gleisberg’s Weight Lifting X plan and have now started her Q2 plan.
→ April is Camp NaNoWriMo month and while I don’t have any actual writing goals so I’m not joining it, I am going to use the mentality to finish reading The Anatomy of Story, get my desk organized (it’s not a very zen place to write right now, it’s become a dumping zone), and start planning my novel for November! I’m trying to be way more organized with NaNoWriMo this time around. No pantsing for me this year!

I’m going to be participating in Mythothon (which, not going to lie, I totally forgot about until I started writing this post). I’ll be writing a full TBR post for this soon, so I won’t bore you with it twice. I’m also participating in April’s Read Rovers book club in which we’ll be reading The Lost Apothecary together! On top of those two events, I want to try to reread Shadow & Bone. It’s been so long since I read it that I want to refresh my memory before the show, but a Google refresh might be what ends up happening.
Wow, you’re still here! Thank you! You’re awesome. This is my first wrap up since October so it was a bit long winded. Anyways, how was your March? What are you looking forward to in April? See any books on my lists that interest you or you think I should read first?
Let me know!

Sounds like you had a pretty great month! Big congrats on your weight loss success! that’s so great. I feel like I’ve been gaining and losing the same 10 lbs for the last 4-5 months. I really need to get my head back in the game and get serious about it again.
Thank you so much! And you can do it! This is the first time I’ve ever stuck to workout and meal plan. Literally ever. So if I can do it, you can do it! haha
I’ve been doing the ‘should I or should I not participate in Camp Nanowrimo?’ flopping for days. I have so many unfinished projects from so many years of Nanowrimo. I really need to spend some time on them and see if there’s anything worth salvaging. BUT I have so many ARCs to read, as well. Ha! I can’t wait to pick up Namesake. I’ll look forward to your thoughts! <3
hahah Yeah, I kind of debated it too, but realized I’m not ready to write at all. So I’m just going to wait for NaNoWriMo. Hopefully I’m ready by then hahaa >.<
I’m happy to see you’re having a great March! Personally it was a meh month for me but I also had some great times 😀 I hope April will be a better month for you! 😀
Aw! Well I hope April is better for you! 🙂
What an amazing reading and blogging month! can’t wait to read your review for the silent patient 🙂
Thank you! I better get to writing it lol
WOW look at how POWERFUL your March was, personally and blogging-wise!!! Congrats on getting so much reading done and the weight loss, and I hope April is amazing for you
Thank you so much! Honestly I didn’t notice how well March went until I wrote this post. So here’s to hoping that energy carries into April lol
I planned to do Camp NaNoWriMo, yet I have nothing written yet. I have had a book I did finish looked over by a beta reader and I sat into a Facebook Live with a favorite author this weekend where she talked about editing and answered questions. But still no writing done. Hope we can both get some done if we have time. I bought From Blood and Ash by JLA when it first came out last year, but still haven’t read it. I need to! Hope you have a good April!

My NaNoWriMo prep is veryyyy slow going lol That’s why I wanted to start planning so early. It’s quite difficult to get anything done with a 16 month old haha. Happy reading and good luck with writing!
