Oh, hi 👋🏼 I’ve been MIA for about a month. July was extremely busy for me. We had company for a week, but what has consumed most of my time is a family emergency. I’ve struggled trying to find balance and not using my free time to just doom scroll. But here is me trying to return to normal in the midst of chaos. 🫠

I recently started The Dead Lands. It’s a post-apocalyptic story. I have only read the prologue so far so I have zero opinions 😂 I’ve also started the audiobook for Open Season by CJ Box. Have you read any of the Joe Pickett series?

Lots of real estate reality shows. Idk why. I guess we just needed mindless drama 😂 Drop any fun, drama filled show recs (reality or scripted) 👍🏼

Don’t hate me but I actually DNF’d ACOWAR. And that was after forcing myself through the first two. ACOMAF was better, but I still wasn’t loving the series.

With that said, my FOMO is getting the best of me & I will probably start the series over at some point. Anyone up for a buddy read or reread with me?!

This is one for me. I had no idea what it was about but I saw good reviews. Then I saw this edition at Target and had to have it. I mean, look at it! So it’s a bookstagram and a cover buy 🫶🏻

When local girl Loren includes Mara in a traditional Blackfeet Giveaway to honor Loren’s missing sister, Mara thinks she’ll finally make some friends on the Blackfeet reservation.

Instead, a girl from the Giveaway, Samantha White Tail, is found murdered.

Because the four members of the Giveaway group were the last to see Samantha alive, each becomes a person of interest in the investigation. And all of them—Mara, Loren, Brody, and Eli—have a complicated history with Samantha.

Despite deep mistrust, the four must now take matters into their own hands and clear their names. Even though one of them may be the murderer.
