Would You Rather…? Book Tag

I was tagged by Shanu from Scribbles on a Screen to do the Would You Rather book tag. So, here it is!

WOULD YOU RATHER…

1. Have unlimited money for e-books or a $5,000 Barnes and Noble gift card?

Even though I have a Barnes & Noble membership and most hardcovers are about $10.00 online, I feel like unless you’re very anti e-book, it doesn’t make sense to go for the B&N gift card. With unlimited money for e-books, all I think of is all the money I’d be saving for when I do want to buy a physical copy. I’d basically be able to own any book I’ve ever wanted whether e-book or physical copy.

Winner: Unlimited money for e-books

2. Meet any deceased poet or J.K. Rowling?

I’m not a huge Harry Potter fan. In fact, I’ve only read 2 of them. While it might be cool to meet someone who’s written one of the most popular stories ever written, I think it would be interesting to meet someone from a totally different century: Emily Dickinson, Walt Whitman, Edgar Allan Poe, Ralph Waldo Emerson, Oscar Wilde, or William Freaking Shakespeare.

Winner: Meet any deceased poet

3. Write the world’s most famous book or visit the world of your favorite book for one day?

This seems a bit unfair. One benefits you for a day while the other benefits you for a lifetime. What are the stipulations for writing the world’s most famous book? Can I write it anonymously so I don’t become famous off of it but still make tons of money? If that’s the case, then I’m into it, but if it’s not, then I’d rather visit the world of my favorite book for a day because how awesome would it be to visit Middle Earth!?

Winner: It’s a tie, depending on the circumstances, but since I have to choose, I’m going to give it to my dream version of writing the world’s most famous book.

4. Choose __ or __ ? (Insert characters from your favorite fictional love triangle)

Katniss with Peeta or Gale – I feel like this triangle sparks actual arguments but I’m going to throw it in here anyways because I am Team Gale.

Bella with Edward or Jacob – The OG love triangle? Maybe? So why not bring back this old school and terribly written one. I used to be all Team Edward until I realized just how damn creepy he is (ah, young naive me). So now I am Team Jacob.

Alina with Mal or The Darkling –  Mal was just so bland and I hated every time he was in the story, so I am Team The Darkling.

I honestly cannot think of another love triangle. Sure, there have been some in books I’ve read, but I can’t actually remember the names or circumstances surrounding them. Oops.

5. Experience Hogwarts in a very realistic and accurate virtual reality or travel around the world for a year at no cost?

Again, I’m not a huge Harry Potter fan so I feel like this is a no brainer. How can I even compare a virtual reality with actual reality to see real castles, the Coliseum, the Eiffel Tower, Stonehenge, the Great Wall of China, the pyramids, and all the other wonderful things on this planet. I really cannot equate the two.

Winner: Travel around the world for a year at no cost

I tag whoever wants to do this!
What would be your answers to these questions?

great answers molly! yeah I agree with alina triangle, mal is so bland and whiny UGH. And even though I’m a huge potterhead, I would rather travel the world than having a tour of hogwarts. It’s just makes more sense ahaha!

Right? Who cares about Hogwarts when you have THE WORLD

I feel like we’ve debated about the Peeta versus Gale thing? Lol.

this is so fun! love all your answers!

i’m not an ebook fan. i would prefer the barnes & noble gift card. i could probably purchase my entire reading like rory list with that!

ah the second one is hard. i love the harry potter’s and i think it would be amazing to meet her. but…i would also love to meet edgar allen poe!

i like your idea of writing the most famous book; but doing it anonymously, although in this day and age is that even possible?! and it would be hard to pass up middle earth… ugh the choices!

i apparently just don’t read books with love triangles… lol that or i just cannot think of any.

and, no brainer, actually traveling the world! because, DUH!

Oh I tried that Rory Gilmore challenge for a bit! I gave up quickly lolol oops.

I don’t think it would be quite possible to write anonymously either, but a girl can dream !

Ok, I kind of said the same thing? I had a hard time thinking of ANY love triangles besides the obvious ones.

I loved this tag so much! The questions are fantastic. Shanu tagged me too, so here are my answers if you’re interested!: https://www.bloglovin.com/blogs/books-like-wolves-19107689/would-you-rather-tag-5916076141
I think I even tagged you as well on my own post!

I hated Mal so much too and root for The Darkling. I’ve yet to read Ruin and Rising, so I don’t know how it ends. After reading the question about poetry, I read The Raven by Edgar Allan Poe in English and then in Spanish. Three times because I LOVED it so much! I really need to read more poetry.

Oh yes! I will go check yours out!

I need to read more poetry too. I definitely don’t read ….any actually lol

I think I would like to write the world’s most famous book more than visiting the world of my favorite book. I wouldn’t like to visit Westeros lol

    • Reply Molly's Book Nook 10/16/2017 at 6:33 pm

hahah that is true! I would only visit Middle Earth after all the conflict went away lol

  • Reply Kai @ Quartzfeather 10/15/2017 at 9:37 am

OOOH I haven’t seen a book tag I’m interested in in a long time, I’ll definitely have to give this one a go!

  • Reply Marie 10/15/2017 at 11:14 am

Loved your answers! I would go with the unlimited e-books thing as well, I mean…it’s unlimited, even if the books aren’t physically there, you’re still able to read them, right? 😛
Visiting Middle Earth would be SO AMAZING – to be honest, I would love it so much, but… I’d have to pick being a writer for that one, because it’s quite a dream to me 🙂

    • Reply Molly's Book Nook 10/16/2017 at 6:32 pm

Exactly! Like I said, I feel like you have to be REALLY anti e-book to not go for that. It’s so many books!

  • Reply Shannon @ It Starts at Midnight 10/15/2017 at 7:32 pm

Oh I LOVE this, I am stealing this one no question! I might even post it later in the week, I’ll link back to you of course! It’s so funny because I am with you 150% on the last one. The JK Rowling one is harder. Because I dont care about Harry either, BUT I love JK as just like, a cool lady? And I don’t know many poets, so. Also, we’ll have to take the Peeta/Gale fight outside 😉

    • Reply Molly's Book Nook 10/16/2017 at 6:32 pm

Ah yay! I’m excited to see how you answer all of these. AND YES. LET’S TAKE THIS OUTSIDE. hahaha

  • Reply Imogen 10/15/2017 at 9:02 pm

I’d love to visit Hogwarts but if I could travel the world- hello Orlando!

Hey, Molly.. I’m so glad you decided to do the tag! 😀

Loved reading your answers.. Though I really can’t believe that you’re not into Harry Potter! HP was like my whole childhood, so I have some very intense memories associated with that book series..

    • Reply Molly's Book Nook 10/28/2017 at 10:32 am

heheh I don’t know, I just never got into it. And when I read it at an older age, I think I was just too old at that point >.<
